The Rossington-Collins Band was founded in 1979 by ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd members, released two albums and dissolved in 1982 . They were a strong live act with the curiosity of having a female singer, Dale Krantz, who had been doing backing vocals for 38 Special.
This is a Pre-FM radio show with short interview clips and the live parts were recorded at the Garden State Art Center in Holmdel, NJ, sometime around 1981. Their performance of Free Bird was always instrumental in memory of Ronnie Van Zant.
