Organist Joey DeFrancesco’s Project Freedom, is his first album in a quartet setting and features his stellar work on the Hammond B-3—plus contributions on trumpet and as a vocalist. The album it’s in part dedicated to Philadelphia’s - the so-called ‘City of Brotherly Love’ - rich organ history, and is also an expression of what the city and it’s people mean to him personally.
